Today was the 37th day of Camp Liberty residents’ hunger strike. On this day, 18 people were taken to the Iraqi clinic inside the camp. It is worth noting that, to this day, 388 of the hunger strikers have been taken to the Iraqi clinic.
The hunger strikers are extremely outraged at the US government and the United Nations for not taking any serious steps to free the 7 hostages. The 7 hostages are currently in the prisons of the Iraqi government.
Omid and Ayoub, two of the hunger strikers in camp Liberty have posted a video message on YouTube, calling on the US and UN to intervene for the immediate release of Seven camp Ashraf hostages and protection of the residents of camp Liberty by UN.
