Iraqi MP Hamed al-Mutlak warned the Iraqi government on the transfer of Ashrafi hostages to Iran.

“The attack that took place against Camp Ashraf on September 1 and lead to the death of 52 people and seven residents of the camp being abducted was an aggression against Iraqi sovereignty because the residents of this camp are refugees under international laws and also guests of Iraq,” he said.

“The raid on Ashraf was conducted through Iran’s planning and pressure,” al-Mutlak added.
