Today was 51st day of the Liberty residents’ hunger strike. On this day 44 of the hunger strikers received medical care due to the hunger strike. 17 of them were taken to the clinic under the control of Iraqi physicians in Liberty.
Despite their deteriorating health and recommendations by doctors to stop the hunger strike, the hunger strikers are still adamant to continue their hunger strike until their demands are met. They say all that they’ve tried all other options and this is the only way left for them to have their voices heard across the world.
