In response to a call to protest against poor access to water, the farmers of East Isfahan gathered in the Khouraskan Square for the sixth consecutive day on Saturday, April 14. Slogans chanted by the protesters included, “Death to the traitors who give away the people’s water” and “The enemy is right here, not in the U.S.”
The rally took place in spite of a heavy presence by security forces. The regime’s repressive forces have blocked the road that leads to the Square with firetrucks.
